Wallace Jenkins Obituary
Visitation, Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 2 until 4 p. m. at Joe Ford Funeral Home 1616 Winchester Road, 38116 and Monday, June 10, 2024 from 10 until 11 a.m. at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church 70 North Bellevue Boulevard, funeral 11 a. m., with burial to follow at Memphis Memory Hills Gardens Cemetery.
He leaves to mourn his passing, loving wife, Marcia Lynn Jenkins, daughter, Latasha Reid-Crockett (Timothy), son, Joshua K. Jenkins, grandson, Devan E. Davis, brother, Randy Jenkins (Deqilla); two brothers-in-law four sisters-in-law, host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Wallace and I entered the Atlanta University (now Clark Atlanta University) Graduate School of Business Administration together in Fall 1981. We became fast and great friends. Upon graduation in 1981, we both became executives in the domestic automotive industry. Wallace with Diamler-Chrysler, me with General Motors, and Mercedes-Benz USA of Diamler-Chrysler. We shared a love of the auto industry. No matter where we were, we strived to remain in contact. I texted him in the fourth week of May and did not receive a reply. This was uncharacteristically like Wallace. I now know why I did not hear back. May my lifelong friend and fellow MBA graduate rest in peace. He was a magnanimous Gentleman and a wonderful family man. Dr. Michael Russell, Miami, Florida
