Hey Grandaddy,
As we approach the 10 year anniversary of your departure I feel a sense of peace knowing you have continued to walk with me and guide me along my journey.
I see now when you said “I will never leave you” how true to your word you are.
Even though you are not here in the flesh you continue to show up whenever your needed and for that I am so grateful.
I remember like it was yesterday when God called you home and I thought to myself I don’t want to lose his voice.
I find so much peace and joy when I sit quietly and I hear your voice, whether it’s you singing while making loud clapping sounds and tap dancing all around the kitchen or your soulful laugh that moves the whole house.
How that lights my soul and brings me so much peace and joy.
I love you twin and I miss you everyday all day but I find joy knowing you raised such wonderful children and grandchildren and our family would be nothing without a strong, fearless, loving man like you
Until we meet again continue to be my light

It has been 9 years since you’ve been gone and it still feels like yesterday. I love you and miss you daily and I am so grateful that I had you for the 26 years I did. Thank you for your sacrifice, love, support, strength, motivation, willfulness and so much more. Because of you and your wisdom our family can continue your message and goodness. I am forever thankful and honored to have been blessed by God to have come from the bloodline of someone as worthy as you. Heaven sent for sure! I love you granddaddy and until we meet in the sky I will continue to honor not only your name but what you stood for and the love you had for all people. Rest peacefully King

There is not a day, minute, nor second that passes by that I don´t think and miss you. You are the biggest inspiration and gift our family could have ever dreamed of. Nobody in this world could ever compare to the love and joy you brought all who knew you. I keep you close to my heart and forever in my memories. When I feel low or lost it is you who gets me by! Thank you for your strength. Thank you for your undying love for your family. Thank you for all the times you sacrificed to make sure we never went without. Thank you for your belief in faith in God you past down to us. I wish so bad I could hear your voice, your laugh, or just you singing in tap dancing in the kitchen as you make your coffee. I miss you everyday. I love you every day. Until we meet in heaven, continue watching over us!

It’s been now 6 years since you gained your heavenly wings. I still feel as though it was just yesterday me and mommy was up at your house cracking jokes, you singing your old songs, clapping and tap dancing around the kitchen. Oh how I miss your voice, your laugh, how you would always say “tell ebonee stop looking at me food” even though I wasn’t and how you’d say “ she look good, she gets her loos from her Grandaddy ” That made me so happy! I have loved you since the very first day I met you, you have been not only my granddad but my daddy too. I adore you old man, and I love you more than I could ever explain. I thank you for being our rock for all those year. Nothing short of amazing you are. May you continue to rest in heavenly peace and watch over us. Until God calls me home, I love and miss you Grandaddy ❤

Daddy i miss you so much everyday.You were my friend who i called everynie i just want to hear your voice again.Everyday i try not to be selfish because i know you were in pain i thank God he allowed me to have 50years with you the kids miss you so much bit im glad they had your last hours today .They are doing well david happy in the shipyard ebonee got her dream job snd she always call me each day .Temeka doing wonderful and dhe gave me a car.My grandson is so cute i wanted him to meet you.The boys are so wonderful to me they are doing the you did for me .Albert brought me a car tooboris and otis and michael took me on a cruise it was so wonderful i did have to worry about anything.They are doing great by me .Daddy i know you seen the gorgeous bench boris dedicated to u i set there often now .Mom said hello and tell Calvin i love him too and im glad he was able to be thete with his dad love dsddy i will always be a daddy girl love always. I was just reading the paper and learned of the passing of Mr. Robinson. I have known him for more than 30 years and had the greatest of respect and affection for him. I pray God will comfort each of you knowing how much he loved you and special he must have been to each of you.

Thanks for always being there for me and never giving up. I love you so much granddaddybut I know you're with God now and all the pain and suffering youfaught so hard to hide is now over...and though I miss you every second I'm at peace that you're finally free... I pray you continue to protect me and guide me throughout my life...you are the best granddaddy and the only granddaddy I had and I think God for you... and I also think God for releasing you from your pain.
