She also mourned the loss of two daughters; Wanda Shirelle Marshall and Karen Marie Burton, and a great granddaughter Asia Shirelle Holmes.

Ann retired from the Newport News School System after many years of dedicated service. She loved to talk and tell humorous stories. Ann loved children and children loved her. When growing up, our home was often filled with many neighborhood children as well as her own.

My heart is so heavy as I am just learning of Mrs. Marshall´s passing. I always believed I was the "eleventh Marshall child"! I fondly remember spending countless hours at Mrs. Marshall´s home in Bethel Manor and later in Granger Court/Aberdeen. She told the best stories ever! Over the years we lost touch but I will always cherish my fond memories of the entire Marshall family!

Mrs. Marshall, Rest In God´s Perfect Peace! Heaven has certainly gained an extremely beautiful soul!
