Eileen Johnson Obituary

YORKTOWN - Eileen Rose Johnson, 81, passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Kimball, Neb., and a former resident of Colorado Springs and Denver, Colo., Albuquerque, N.M., and Arlington, Texas, before moving to Yorktown, Va., in 2002. She co-owned and operated with her husband Johnson Electrical Company for 20 years in Colorado Springs. She was an active member of St. Marie Goritte Catholic Church in Arlington and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Yorktown and was a full-time volunteer of the Pro Life Movement in Arlington and Albuquerque for over 18 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Daniel E. Johnson; four children, Debra Gausmann and her husband, Richard, and Patrick Johnson, all of Yorktown, Kathryn Roam and her husband, George, of Parker, Colo., and Kristine Scheuer of Tarrington, Conn.; seven grandchildren, Lisa, Scott, Cheryl, Diana, Carolyn, Monica and Chandra; five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Nathan, Lauren, Alyssa and Brianna; four sisters, Marge Randolph of Portland, Ore., Doris Bergin of Arvada, Colo., Virginia Totten of California, Barbara Wintergalen of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two brothers, Wilbur Stormberg of Nebraska and Jack Stormberg of Medford, Ore. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Stormberg, and a brother, Richard Stormberg. A Funeral Mass will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim Curran officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Memorials may be made to Texans for Life Coalition, P.O. Box 177727, Irving, TX 75017. Arrangements are being handled by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.
