Jac, my heart feels your sadness, my eyes see your pain, but my spirit knows the joy of knowing "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" I know this is the most difficult path you 'll ever have to travel, but just remember that God has always stood by your side and He will see you through. I will miss those bear hugs and the laying of his head on my shoulder, those eyes that looked to me for answers, even on the Sunday before as he knew he was slipping away from us. In all of this, trust in God......he will take care of you. Jacqwon has won his battle and God has granted him a new heart.....sleep on son, until we meet again. Jac, we re here for you. My prayers that the family be comforted by God's grace & mercy. My dear Jackie, I pray for your strength to go on with the confidence of knowing that there is a mender of our broken hearts PSALM 147:3. I never met Jacqwon but clearly he was a beautiful soul. My dearest Jacqwon, you are loved and missed. There is a void left in our hearts that will never be filled. Your smile and laughter will always be embedded in my heart. I love you cousin. I know God makes no mistakes so there is no need for me to question why. I will say that as much as we love you,God loved you best and he called you home to rest eternally in his loving arms. It hurt my soul to see you go but hurt even more to see you in pain. God knew how much you could bare. It warms my heart to know that there is no doubt in my mind that you are in heaven and watching over us all. We will always love,cherish and honor you. Your love for your family and friends was unmatched. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of that. I thank God for our last outing the day before you passed. My dearest Jacqwon, I love you and miss you. I like so many will miss your smile and laugh.We are heart broken. I will not forget the person you were. So loving and kind. It's hard for me to comprehend how and why but our God makes no mistakes. I know how much your family meant to you. We all are reeling with the pain of loosing you. You are truly one of a kind. My fondest memory being the night of your party, you danced all night??. I enjoyed watching you enjoy yourself. And even when you weren't at your best health wise you still were determined to do everything that you were doing before. It hurt my soul to see you in pain,and there was nothing I could do to take it from you. God knew how much was too much to bare and he called you home to rest. So my dear cousin, rest on. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
