Dear Kathy and family,
I am so sorry of your great loss. Jimmy would come into the office and always stop and say hello. He always was such a joy. He loved our LORD and he loved you. May our LORD wrap HIS strong arms around you and hold you ever so close.

Kathy and family, Carrie and I are saddened by your great loss. But Hieaven is a richer place as Jimmy's spirit is now a part of the Heavenly Choir. He was such a prince of a guy. Both of you have been two of the finest church musicians we have ever known. Your love, commitment and grace have touched us all. Our prayers surround you. Love, Stan and Carrie Hicks

Kathy and Family,
Jimmy was a true Christian who lived and led by Christ's example. His life was centered around Christ and living for him. Jimmy's witness reflected Christ's love and he has blessed my life and others. He was someone I could trust and count on and was there to serve the Lord, even when he was so sick. I will truly miss him, his smile, and the way he cared. Jimmy will always hold a special place in my heart and life and be remembered for his Sincere Kindness and his Love for the Lord. What a Beautiful Testimony to our Lord by the way he lived. I know that he is spending Christmas with Jesus this year and I will miss him at Christmas but one day I will see him again in Heaven.

Jimmy was a wonderful person and will be missed by all who were blessed to call him friend, brother, son, husband and father. I will always remember his excitement when they started the Praise and Worship service at Hilton Baptist and his gift of singing that he shared so willingly. I will fondly remember the last time that I heard him sing on Nov. 8th when he sang Live Like You are Dying. He sang as though he had so much to live for and he did. Rejoice that he is singing today in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. He fought the good fight, he did not give up!

He will be missed by all. I always admired his christ-like love that he would always show. He was never judgemental or quick to say his thoughts. He just loved you anyway you came. I know that is the way that he would want all of us to love here on earth. He was an awesome provider and would go without just to lend a hand. I can just picture these words being said to him as he entered the pearly gates: "Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." My thoughts and prayers are with you all.......I love you!
