FOR THE FAMILY OF JOHN, I WISH THEM STRENGTH, LOVE AND THE COMFORT OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. I KNEW JOHN AND CAROLYN AS A CHILD GROWING UP AND ALSO WORKED WITH HIM AT NOLAND COMPANY. THEY WERE BOTH VERY CLOSE TO OUR FAMILY. I TRIED VERY HARD TO REACH THEM IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS BUT NO ANSWER. NOW I SEE WHY, HEALTH WAS FAILING. BUT WE LOVED THEM VERY MUCH.

I worked with John many years at Noland Company. He was always such a pleasant person to work with and always went out of his way to help everyone. He had a great sense of humor too.
When I was working at the Chesapeake Complex, Madonna came to the Hampton Coliseum and of course my teenage son wanted to take his girlfriend but no tickets were to be found, My branch manager called John and he somehow got tickets for me.
Praying for you and family.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of John. To the best of
my knowledge he was one of the final "old guard" from the Noland days. Always a friend of my father and our family, I will remember you with great fondness. Peace be with John and the family.

Crystal, I worked with your dad at Noland for many years. He was one of the finest men I've ever known. I am very saddened by his passing

My thoughts and prayers are with you the family. It has been years since we all lived in Surry. I remember those days with great fondness, from there Charles and I departed for the Air Force.
