One of my first and fondest memory at IWA was Mrs. England and her kind and loving ways, particularly to a first grader like me who was nervous and scared about starting "big school." She touched many lives in a positive way. My sympathies.

“A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.”
Forest E. Witcraft quote
Mrs. England not only touched the lives of hundreds of children - she touched the lives of those who loved her. I fondly remember the many days she spent gardening with my parents, whom she always addressed as "Mr. and Mrs. Jones". I'm sure there is a happy reunion going on in heaven as they are reunited. The world is a better place because she shared her life with others for so many years. My prayers are with the family at this time of loss. God Bless each of you.

To the Howard family,
Mrs. England was a blessing to this community, to Isle of Wight Academy, to me, and to everyone who met her. Even though I've never met you, I feel I know you through her loving words and the happiness in her eyes when she spoke of you. Each of you are in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with your loss. May God bless!
With heartfelt sympathy,

God saw you were getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So, He put his arms around you,
And whispered , "Come to ME".
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer,
And saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating;
Hard working hands now rest.
God broke our hearts to prove He only takes the best.

We were so blessed as Martha walked among us. Her beautiful smile, kind words, her concern for others and unselfish acts for those in need are traits that describe a good friend, a dear sister and special person of God. Her kind and tender heart touched all of us deeply. She set the standard for us until we join her in the heavenly family.
We love You!
