Friend, mentor, administrator, colleague, Delta Kappa Gamma sister, giving heart, fine cook, and pillar of her church. Myrtle excelled in many arenas. My fondest memories of her involve her family and mine. Myrtle loved having friends over for dinner and could she cook! Christmas was always a special occasion at her home for friends and relatives. Teeny and Myrtles children and grandchildren were fortunate to have such a dear soul in their lives. Rest In Peace, Myrtle.

We were very sorry to learn of the passing away of Myrtle Soles. She was a very kind, loyal and dedicated member of the Senior Center of York, and she served the board well. We especially remember her fondly speaking at the Center's anniversary celebrations and her involvement with the dinner dances. She will be missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Myrtle was such a sweet lady! I enjoyed doing her hair for a few years before I moved to Florida almost 4 years ago. I know she was starting with the Alzheimers then because my dad had it and I saw the signs but she was still a joy to be around and so smart and very knowledgeable about everything! So sorry to the family Im sure she will be greatly missed❤

Loved her dearly. She was my favorite teacher. Had her all 4 years of highschool. One year at York and the 3 at Tabb. The only class I probably received straight A's in. :) my sincere sympathy to her family and friends. Repose en paix tu es aime.

Y sincere condolences to the family. Mrs. Soles was one of my favorite teachers at Tabb High School. I graduated in 1978 and met up with her again years later through her work with the Senior Center and my work as a nurse. She never changed; always kind and caring. She will be greatly missed!

One of my favorites from Tabb. She truly cared about her students. I spent many a day talking with her, in her office. She never turned me away. She will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤
