R. MUNGER Obituary

HARVEY, LA. - Lt. Col. R.L. "Tony" Munger, 77, passed away quietly at his home in Harvey, La., on July 10, 2012, with his loving wife of 31 years, Mary Koskinas Black Munger at his side.
He was a West Point graduate, where he starred in football and served his country proudly in the Vietnam War as a jet fighter pilot.
He is survived by his stepson, Steven Black (Steve's fiancée Ms. Teresa Kelly), of Yorktown; grandsons, Adam and Ryan Black; half-sister, Maiya Huffman. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Chuck.
Tony will be dearly missed by family and friends and his four legged children Mikey and Faith.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date and the Air National Guard of Louisiana will take his ashes for his final flight. Condolences may be offered online at www.westsideleitzeagan.com. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
