I remember Ray Carmines, Sr, he would skate on Robert's Creek when it was frozen in winter, wonderful man. I think of his son Ray Carmines, Jr. who served as a role model for me as we both attended Emmaus Baptist Church together. Ray Jr graduated from Va Tech as I did 1967 and 1971 with my Ph.D. Ray jr and my brother Boyce were the same age. I remember Ray Sr skating on Robert's Creek when he was 92, what a role model!
