We are heart-broken and shocked to hear of Taari's passing, such a loss! He was our AF brother and we were a tight bonded shop at 729th Vehicle Maintenance, Hill AFB, UT. And, yes, vehicle maintenance - 2.5 t trucks et al that he and Ed Small painted and cared for. Sharon, at Taair's suggestion, took care of my daughter Kristina and I got to experience their lively and loving household on a daily basis. Our thoughts and prayers to all his family and friends...

Taari was indeed a blessing. I am an alum of M&A. He reached out to me when my youngest enlisted in the USAF. He was among the first of my brothers and sisters to calm my nerves, ease my mind and assured my my child (17 at the time) would grow into a fine young man. We didn't talk often, but would check in periodically. His generosity made an impact on my life. A new warrior gained his Angel wings. Watch over us my brother in Heaven. You are loved!

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled:
A place is vacant in our hearts,
Which can never be filled,
God in His wisdom has recalled,
And the boon his love has given,
And though the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in heaven.
Our Dearest Sa Mia,
We cannot begin to express our condolences to you and your Family on this tremendous loss. May you find comfort in the beautiful memories that you hold dear.
Rest Well Brother Taari.

I came to know Taari from Music and Art High School in New York. Before I bought my first motorcycle a few years ago, Taari, and another friend, discussed with me the pros and cons of my bikes of interest. It was Taari's encouraging words that gave me the confidence to buy the larger model. I thought it might be too powerful but he said I could handle it and he was right. That's what Taari was like: encouraging, caring, giving and kind. I offer my condolences to all his family and friends. Taari will be missed.

I knew Taari from my daughter Shanee'. I spoke to him several times over the phone, and was really looking forward to meeting him when I came to Virginia. My heart goes out to his family and his friends. I thank Taari for coming into my daughters life and being a special friend, and wanting the best for her. He was very encouraging and would try to bring out the best in folks. I can remember him giving me advice over the phone about which type of wine to cook with. He will surely be missed, and I really wish I could have met him in person. RIP Taari, You were a wonderful man of many faces and many talents, and you made a name for yourself in the VA! Taari and I served together in the Air Force at Langley. We quickly became friends sharing a common passion: boxing. We worked-out together, watched championship boxing together, and above all, laughed together. He always spoke fondly of his family and was SO proud of his children. I will always remember him as a man of honor and pride...but mostly as a friend. My deepest sympathies and condolences to those who loved him as I did.
