Joe was my best friend growing up as a child and we continued to stay in touch through our college years and beyond. Unfortunately, I was not aware of his passing until a few years after his death and am sorryI didn´t have the opportunity to attend his funeral. He will be in my thoughts forever! R.I.P. Joe

To one great wife and mother Cindy, four amazing sons, two precious daughters (-in-law), and two beautiful grandaughters: Joe left an incredible legacy. Thankfully as such, it will be impossible to forget him. We will never forget the memory of him at UVA football tailgates. He made UVA games so fun with his humor and drama! Never forget his love for you all as it was so evident by his life. We are sad with you.

Love,

Kathy for the entire John P. Cattano family

Dear Cindi,

Lois and Lou Lunardini send our sincere sympathy to you and yours on the occasion of Joe's untimely passing.

We remember being guests in your lovely home, enjoying your hospitality and meeting your family - and, of course, having a role in Joe's and Susanne's wedding.

We look forward to a happier moment in two months at the UVA Chapel when we will have a Christening celebration for three family members.

May God richly bless you and give you the comfort you need at this difficult time.

Dear Cindy and family,

It was with total shock we heard about Joseph, and a profound sense of loss for you and your family. I last saw Joseph in January and he was the same as ever - his spirited personality and brimming with his pride and total admiration of his family. I shall always remember him as a very distinct and lovable cousin in our family, surely a relative not easily forgotten and will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with you and your family.
