Dear Barbara,

What a wonderful couple and what a marvelous guy. About once a year we would get an early morning knock on the door. Woody had gone to the Donegal lowgrounds to hunt. He had done his "hunting", was cold, and ready for coffee with a splash of something warm. We could take care of that pretty quick and with the coffee came the wonderful and witty conversation. Times and a man to remember. Our family express our deep sympathy but we bet he's right now making someone laugh. Tommy , Janet and Genna Stargell

Although I was sent to Woodberry "in shackles & chains", good friends like Woody made my 3 years tolerable. He was faster in the 100 hurdles than I was in the 100 yd dash, which hurt, but what a great, fun,& funny guy!
