Artie was a 'salt of the earth type of guy'. He was usually in a jovial mood and would always be willing to help anyone who needed a hand. I first got to know Artie when my sons attended St. Peter's elementary school. We shared a love of the Eagles and I enjoyed his fellowship. My sympathies and prayers go out to his family.

Im so sorry to hear of Artie's passing. Artie had a big personality but an even bigger heart. I'll never forget his kindness and friendship. I hope Maggie and his children find peace and comfort in celebrating the kind of man he was.

To pin down a single memory of Artie is difficult, to say the least...I know many will remember his experiment with flame at the Carnival one year, but Artie was a multi-faceted individual...I will remember Artie because of his many traits...a love of life...a huge heart...always willing to step in and lend a hand whenever and wherever needed...loyalty to his family and friends...this may sound like he was a perfect guy BUT he was an Eagles fan and that kinda brought the score down a bit :)
I will miss him more than even he would ever know...farewell my friend!
