On May 28, 2014, Giuseppe Rotundo II passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family; he was 76 years old. He was born September 16, 1937 in Magisano, Italy. He traveled to America in 1956 and then became a longtime resident of Morristown, NJ for most of his life prior to moving to Succasunna, NJ in 2003.

He worked for PSE&G for several years before he and his wife established their own Taxi Company, A&A Cab which was based in Morristown, NJ. He retired from being the Owner/Operator of A&A Cab after 38 years of successful service.

He enjoyed his gardening which consisted of fruits, vegetables and grapes. He loved family gatherings, making homemade wine, sauce and sausage. He was an avid collector of lighthouses and enjoyed vacationing in Ocean Gate, NJ. Another favorite place to visit was traveling to the Padre Pio Museum in Barto, PA. One of the proudest moments of his life was when he became an American citizen in July of 1965.

He is predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe & Margherita Rotundo; his sister, Mariantonia Pistoia and his grandson, Gregory Glossy. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia Rotundo (Windt); his children, Margie Keyes and her husband Bill, Joeann Pennell and her husband Doug, Giuseppe Rotundo III and his wife Bonnie, and Dawn Marie Bankston and her husband Shareef. He is also survived by his siblings, Rosario Rotundo and his wife Isabella, Maria Catizone and her husband Antonio, Cesare Rotundo and his wife Emilia. He leaves 6 cherished grandchildren, Brenton, Jessica, Kelly, Brad, Mackenna and Jade Marie. He is survived by numerous sister and brothers-in-law, cousins, nephews and nieces. He also leaves his special cousin, Josephine "Dolly" Marconi and his dear friend and Taxi Buddy Jerry Rosner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption, Morristown, NJ on Monday at 10:00AM. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Hours of visitation at the Doyle Funeral Home (www.doylefh.com) 106 Maple Ave., Morristown on Sunday from 2-6pm.
