Joseph Greshko Obituary

Joseph T. Greshko

Boonton - Joseph T. Greshko died tragically on Friday, September 14, 2018.

Born and raised in Boonton, Joe was a journeyman carpenter with Deacon Homes, Inc. for the past 35 years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman traveling extensively on hunting and fishing expeditions.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a lifetime member of the NRA and a distinguished member of the Eastern Chapter Wild Sheep Foundation.

Joe (Jody) was predeceased by his father, Edward B. Greshko. He is survived by his mother, Josephine Greshko, his brother, Edward Greshko, his sister, Annette Langseder and her husband, Eric, his sister, Mary Ann Deacon and her husband, Philip, his nephew, Eric Greshko and his great-nephew, Duke Greshko.

Services are private and are under the direction of the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton.

Relatives and friends will be received by the family on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Black Forest Inn, Route 206, Stanhope.

Memorial donations may be made to Father John's Animal Shelter, 50 Father John's Lane, Lafayette, NJ 07848. Online condolences may be offered at www.smithmccrackenfuneralhome.com.

Joe I didn't meet you hunting or fishing, I met you through Melody, you were a blessing to our family and very involved, you taught Anthony how to walk on his first birthday, helped Nicole on her wedding day, had good times with Michael, laughed at dinners, bbqs, and family events you were a sweet genuine loving one of a kind guy, and had a bright future with Melody, you were a true pleasure knowing, and having in our family, you had an unforgettable laugh and smile, Joe you are tremendously missed!
