Tracie Dulin Obituary

MIDLAND Tracie Lea Dulin passed away May 28, 2014, in Colorado City, Texas. She was born Aug. 30, 1978, to Tommy and Connie Dulin. Tracie was a ray of sunshine, she brought joy to everyone she met. She had a personality that could only be described as fabulous. She was also very funny and could easily make you laugh. Tracie always said "you never know what a person is going through, so be nice to everyone." She was an advocate for human rights and often reminded us about what is going on in this world. She was the type of person that stood up for what she believed in and would give you her last dime if you needed it. Tracie also loved to write and she was very good at it. She has been published for her poetry, wrote a book and she was a freelance writer for magazines. Another thing that is much known about Tracie is that she loved coffee and has probably visited every coffee shop around. She also liked going to the Farmers Markets and would encourage us to buy from local businesses because they needed it. She also loved meeting with family and friends for lunch, she was the type that would get to know you and would listen to what you had to say. But what Tracie loved the most in this world were her three daughters Autumn, Karmandy and Kennedy as well as being a grandmother or "Bugsy" to her granddaughter Zoe. She was a great person and will be forever missed. Tracie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Ozelia Dulin, Lloyd and Maria Shattuck, Uncles Harold and Fred Dulin, and Aunts Carolyn Shattuck and Virginia Reynolds. Tracie is survived by her three daughters, Autumn, Karmandy and Kennedy Dulin; granddaughter Zoe Blyss Dulin of Colorado City, Texas; her parents, Tommy and Connie Dulin of Colorado City, Texas; sister Lisa and brother-in-law Brian Murphree of Midland, Texas, sister Robin and brother-in-law Billy Massie of Grapevine, Texas and brother Tommy and sister-in-law Memory Dulin of Midland, Texas. She is also survived by her great-aunt, Margie Bolton of Sulfur Springs, Louisiana; Uncle Bill and Aunt Diane of Abilene, Texas, Aunt Pam of Abilene, Texas; nieces Brianna Frick and husband Tyler and their children, Gavin and Isaac, Kaede and Jocilyn Massie and Brooklyn Dulin; her nephews, Taylor and Jonathan Murphree and Tommy Alexander Dulin and soon to be Tiberius Dulin. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Crestview Baptist Church. Dr. John Gerlach will be officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been made in her honor. The world is a darker, colder place without Tracie's light and color to warm us all. I pray that her daughters inherit this beautiful soul and also find others in this world that share their mother's ability to make those around them feel loved and happy. My heart and prayers remain with you all.

Tracie was such a sweet kind hearted person. Tracie volunteered in Mrs. Crockett's Kindergarten class last year. She would read to the kids every Tuesday. Lindsey my daughter thought so much of Tracie. Because of her Lindsey developed a love for reading. Tracie would let the kids read to her some too and she would always brag on them. Lindsey would always come home so excited because Ms. Dulin had been there that day. Also she was the most awsome waitress at Bucks. oh yea one more thing I will always remember is how she would always act so excited to see Lindsey when we would see her in town. She called her princess and made Lindsey feel so special. You could also tell that she was an awesome Mother. Lindsey has been in the same class with one of the twins ever since pre k. So we were blessed to get to be around her. Although I did not get the opportunity to get to know her real well she still made a big impact in our lives. We enjoyed the times that we got to visit with her. Praying for God's comfort for all the family and friend. God Bless

We are deeply sorry for your loss! I had not seen Tracie in many years and then ran into her about a year in a half ago. She was the same joyful, sweet Tracie that I remembered from so long ago when I use to teach her in Sunday School, just all grown up! We will be praying for your family that God would wrap his loving arms around you and give you grace and peace to make it through this painful time.

I remember Tracie as always happy and so full of life. I was her District Sales Manager in Midland in 2005 and I recruited her to be a DSM. She was hired and took her district to the top. At the time she had her beautiful Autumn and later her twins. My heart is heavy and I am so sad. She will be missed. God Bless your family and her sweet children.
