I will always remember her beautiful smile. She had such an amazing heart. I remember going to her house to work on a school project and we thought we did an amazing job. Too bad our teacher gave "the boys" a higher grade even though our project was clearly better.

Asa graduated from high school with my daughter. The two were good friends. My daughter, Katherine, is torn up over this.
Asa was and is beautiful. She will be very much missed.

I met Asa along with Shaun Vincent at one of the Greater Dayton Humane Society's Furry Scurries. We had a brief conversation about my dog, both very nice people. So sorry to hear of Asa's passing, she was a genuine, caring person.

She was a great news anchor. Very authentic and compassionate. I was so disappointed when she left Dayton that I stopped watching channel 22 in the morning. My prayers are with her family. Such a tragic loss.

I remember when a fellow news anchor revealed that was fighting cancer; Asa cried on camera as she told her colleague that she was behind her all the way. It was a genuine show of emotion that made me like Asa on the spot. I'm saddened by her passing but glad to tell her family how her kind spirit shone so bright, even through the television. Wishing you thoughts of the many happy memories you had with her.

I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Asa on the Fox/ABC 22 News in the Morning in Dayton, OH. She was extremely supportive and kind to me. This is very shocking and tragic for me. My heart goes out to her family.

We met Asa, her cat, Turtle, and her dog 2 yrs. ago. She lived on our block. She was sadly already going through the struggle of her life. We knew at one time she must have shone brightly.
