Charles Zan Obituary
News Death Notice
ZAN, Charles Steven II age 45, of West Carrollton, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009. He graduated from Lorain High School in 1983 and attended Sinclair Community College. Charles worked at the Warren Corrections Institute for 15 years. He served in the U. S. Army from 1984 until 1987. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1988 and served until 1992. Charles joined the Army Reserves in 2007. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Bob Cameron and great-aunt, Ann Huhra. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Pandora Zan; father, Charles Zan of Avon, OH and mother, Barbara Cameron of Maryland; 2 sons, Adrian of West Carrollton and Charles Ernst of Germany; step-daughter, Misty Henderson; two step-sons Cody Henderson of Middletown and Brendan Burns of West Carrollton; 2 grandchildren, Tanner and Dominick Henderson of Middletown; brothers, Mike Zan and Tony Cameron both of Maryland and Matt Zan of Lorain, OH; sisters, Christine Collazo of Elyria, OH and Renee White of Maryland and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday October 25, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH. Funeral service will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P. O. Box 145447, Cincinnati, OH. 45250. To all who have signed this Guest Book for my son Charles, know we the family are so grateful for your love and sharing our loss. This is the hardest thing I will ever face in my life and my heart is forever broken, but knowing so many cared for Chuck and his sons Adrian and Charles Ernst and step-son Brendon helps some of the pain that is always there. Thank you for your condolences and from the family, thank you for being good friends to Chuck and his family, his sons whom he loved with all his heart.

Adrian & Family; I know there are no words or condolenses that can be spoken that will ease the void you are feeling right now. Just please know we are here for you. If you should need anything, even if it just to talk.
