News Death Notice

EVANS, Clorece age 80, of Dayton, departed this life October 7, 2014. Born in Laurel, MS and a resident of Dayton since the age of 11. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School and a member of Mt. Enon M.B. Church and Mt. Carmel M.B. Church for many years, before moving, along with her husband, her membership to College Hill Community Church. Preceded in death by her parents, John Sr. and Lottie Marsh; brother, Horace Marsh; husband, Willie Evans. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Edmondson; brothers, Hubert Sr., William, John (Frances) and James (Catherine) Marsh; sister, Helen Embry; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held 11 am Monday, October 13, 2014 at College Hill Community Church, 1547 Philadelphia Drive. Rev. John Zuercher officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Condolences may be expressed at [email protected]
