My husband Claude and I will miss you Doug. You made playing darts so much fun. You were always kind and friendly to everyone. A true southern gentleman.
I made you peanut butter fudge every birthday and will miss doing that. God Bless you my friend... and your family also.

My husband and I have very fond memories of Doug. We met at the American Legion many years ago and Doug truly was a wonderful friend. I will carry Doug and his family in my heart for years to come. God Bless you and may you rest in peace.

DOUG HAD NO ENEMIES. I WAS WITH HIM FOR 18 YEARS AND NEVER HEARD HIM SPEAK BADLY ABOUT ANYONE. HE FATHERED 4 WONDERFUL KIDS - ONE BEING MINE AND THE OTHER 3 FEEL LIKE MINE! IT WAS HIS TIME- THAT'S ALL. TREAT EVERYONE AS IF IT'S THE LAST TIME YOU WILL SEE THEM!
