Jacob Jackson Obituary
Jacob "Jake" Jackson, age 38, of Germantown, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday August 27, 2023, at Sycamore Hospital. He was born at Ft. Stewart, Georgia on October 9, 1984. Jake was a U.S. Army Veteran serving as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Specialist (EOD Tech); and more recently was working at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell Jackson, and Dick (Ethel Mae) Arnett. He is survived by his son, Axel Cooper Jackson; his parents, Deanna (Arnett) and Mark Angel & Mark (Shari) Jackson; his grandmothers, Diane Jackson, and Julia Deaton; his siblings, Kim (Travis) Dalton, Joe (Michelle) Jackson, Wesley (Abbey) Jackson, Mark (Erica) Angel, and Chelsea (Sean) Stratton; numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held 12 – 2 p.m., Friday September 1, 2023, at the Dalton Funeral Home, 6900 Weaver Road, Germantown, Ohio, where the Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m., with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Jake was the love of my life, my best friend, and the man who promised me 130% of the love in his heart. I am so thankful for every moment of the life we got to share- he filled my world with laughter and SO much love. I´m so blessed to have been reason for him to drive 6 1/2 hours in a horrible winter storm to come see me all those months ago. What was supposed to be a few days turned into two of the most wonderful weeks before he had to finally return to Ohio. I will never forget the phone call a few days later telling me how much he missed me and him deciding to just pack what he could and Drive all the way back to me that next day -never leaving my side again.
I miss everything about him I miss our quiet little private life. I miss walking Mabel at night as he would always point out the stars, and I miss the wild flowers he would pick for me along the way. I miss how much we had in common, we could finish the others sentences about all the interests we shared. I miss listening to him sing to me as he played his guitar or even to the radio as we spent all those hours driving when we would go to Ohio to his moms house. The kids and I especially miss his spontaneous "lessons " on explosives, and the amazing meals he would cook.
Jake was an amazing role model to Mia and Camren- and I thank him for being the man that he was. That morning we were supposed to be driving back to pack to move into the house we had found together, but God said instead it was time for Jake to go home with him. As much as it breaks my heart every day- I´m just so glad I was right there with him telling him how much I love him and needed him to stay. I know he would have if he could.
I have never been so proud to call someone mine and have him call me his.
I love and miss him so much, there isn´t enough room to explain all the reasons why.

We were so sad to hear of Jake's passing. We have special memories of him and his friendship with Ty, especially the HS English project that they worken on together at our place. We know that he will be missed by all who knew him. Our prayers are with you!

I worked with Jacob as a teenager at Wendy's and in later years we reconnected through Facebook. He was always such a nice guy and a lot of fun to be around. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Praying for Jacob's son and family.
