News Death Notice
CRESS, Joyce Darlene Age 68 of New Carlisle, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 29, 2010. She was born on January 11, 1942 to Virginia, & Robert L. Booher, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; her parents; and by two brothers, Bob & Jerry Booher. She and Eugene were married for 40 years and were true soul mates. Darlene is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Rick) Hutchins; two granddaughters, Mandy & Elaina Hutchins, all of New Carlisle, Ohio; three step grandchildren, Steven, Katie & Erika Hutchins; and by three great grandchildren. Darlene was retired from the Mike-Sells Potato Chip Company of Dayton, Ohio where she worked for 30 years. She was a very faithful member of Pathway Baptist Church in Huber Heights, Ohio. Her pastor and church family were very dear to her. She will be missed by her many friends and a very special friend, Evelyn Brummitt. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, May 3rd, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Pastor Larry Whitt will officiate. Interment will follow at Medway Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 p.m., until time of services. To send a special message to the family, please visit www.NewcomerDayton.com.
