Margaret Daley Obituary
Margaret "Jewell" Daley (Hall), age 93, of Huber Heights, passed away September 27, 2024. Jewell was born in Irvine, Kentucky on March 2, 1931 to the late Herman and Lanie Watson. Jewell was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Ed Hall; former husband, Stan Daley; seven brothers and sisters, Otis, Beatrice, Glen, Orpha, Anna Lee, Dennis and Audrey; grandson, Joshua Devey; and son-in-law, Tim Kelley. She is survived by daughters, Kimberly (Bill) Magness and Kelli Foster; grandchildren, Danielle (Joey) and Lanie (Phil); great-grandchildren, Kayla, Joshua, Haley, Miranda and Ellie; great-great-grandchild, Hendrix; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Jewell was dedicated to her church. She was a member of Christian Chapel Church for many years. Jewell loved to sing. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, hosting and shopping at garage sales and spending time with her grandchildren. Jewell was a great mother to the two daughters she adopted. She was kind and loving. Jewell was spunky and said whatever was on her mind. Donations may be made in Jewell's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude’s Pl., Memphis TN 38105). Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:30pm on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek), where funeral services will begin at 1:30pm with Steve Wilson officiating. Jewell will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery in Beavercreek, following the service.
