PATRICK, Paige Elizabeth Age 23 of Vandalia, passed away Friday evening at Soin Medical Center, Beavercreek. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 31, 1995 the daughter of Jeffrey & Melinda (Givens) Patrick. She was a 2013 graduate of Vandalia Butler High School where she was a member of the Choir and Debate Team. She was in her 3rd year at Wright State where she was Majoring in Art History and had a Minor in Religion and worked at T-Mobile. She was an Ordained Minister and enjoyed dancing, hiking, Pokemon Go, yoga, kayaking, biking, drawing and writing. She played t-ball and soccer at the Vandalia Rec Center and coached soccer a few seasons. She is survived by her parents; her brother Cory Patrick; her grandfathers Edgar Givens and John Councilman; her grandmother Emma Councilman; aunts and uncles Michelle (Eddy) Givens Martinez, Michael Patrick and Debi Maggard; her significant other Cole Crawford; a cousin Jerrad Patrick, and numerous friends and family. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Judith Givens. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, girlfriend and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 6:00 8:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Joshua Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Paige was a wonderful friend to me back in highschool and as early as middle school. We were sometimes at each others throats when we had our fights, but I knew in the end that Paige wanted the best for me and I the same for her. It had been a long time since we last talked when I found out that she had passed and it really broke me emotionally. To know that a person who had brought so much happiness and energy into this world was gone was devastating, especially when she was so young. I still think about her to this day, so while she is gone she is most certainly not forgotten. We all love you Paige. Thank you for always being true to yourself.

I jus heard about Paige. Worked with her in a nursing homes years back. I had also thought of her as a good spiritual women. Patients looked forward seeing her and when they did they were full of happiness of being able to be around someone full of love

As a T-Mobile customer for the past 14 years, I had the pleasure of meeting her and she servicing my needs the past few years. It was always a pleasure going into the store and see her smiling and jolly self either working with customers or laughing with her co-workers. She was one of the few that went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we the customers were satisfied. Prayers, hugs and love to her immediate family as well as her T-Mobile co-workers and customers. She will be missed!!

I had the pleasure of having Paige in my American Sign Language Class at Wright State last semester. She was a wonderful student. She was extremely creative and always did her absolute best. I am devastated to hear the news of her passing. Prayers to the family in this tough time.

Paige was my student in many classes at Wright State and she was an absolute delight. To the family of Paige Patrick,

I am one of Paige's professors in the Religion Department at Wright State, and my deepest condolences on Paige's tragic passing. I am so sorry to hear this terrible, terrible news. I worked with Paige in a couple of classes, and she was one of my favorite students. She was an interested and engaged student, extremely bright and articulate, and always cheerful and friendly in class. She was just a wonderful presence to have in the classroom, and I will miss having the opportunity to work with her again. I know my colleagues in the department also think very highly of her as a student and a young woman, and our department has lost a great one in Paige and she will be missed. Again, I am so very sorry for your tragic loss.
