MENKE, Patricia Jane of Dayton, who was born January 26, 1927 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Irene and Harold Streuber, was a 1945 graduate of Saint Mary High School in Portsmouth, was the owner of Pat's Alterations from 1988 to 2002 and prior to that was Head Alteration Seamstress for the Perfect Fit, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home. She was 85. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years: John Edward; her nephews: Harold 'Skip' Chapman and Kurt Streuber and her grandpuppy "PJ". She is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Amy and Tom Loges, Janet and Harry Heiser and Mary Menke; her sons and their wives: Dick and Carol and Jack and Lynne; her sister and husband: Mary Anne and Kenneth Chapman; her brother and wife: Peter and Jackie Streuber; her grandchildren: Paul Hail, Shira Hobson, Jennifer (Brandon) Moran, Chawna Loges, Lynn (Don) Thornton, David (Michele) Menke, Kevin Menke and Kristen Menke; great-grandchildren: Edwin III, Damian, Adelle, Monika and Tamaria Hobson, Derek Thornton, Cooper and Cade Moran and Addison Menke; grandpuppy: "McKenzie" and many nieces and nephews. FUNERAL will begin with a Mass of Christian Burial in Ascension Catholic Church Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. VISITATION will be in HARRIS FUNERAL HOME, 49 Linden Avenue, Dayton (937)253-3129 on Monday from 5 to 8 PM.
