Dear Cindy and family,
We've been praying for you all ever since I heard from Kate that Steve was sick. I couldn't make it to the viewing, but was at the funeral Mass, and it was so beautiful! Our sympathies go out to you, and we'll continue to pray for you as you attempt to heal from his loss. God is merciful, and He will support you; count on that, and the love of your friends. Please don't be shy about asking for, and accepting help, because we all would do everything in our power to help you make this transition. We love you!

My sincere thoughts and prayers are with Steve's family and friends. I worked with Steve for many years including way back in his days with the MVH Center of Nursing Excellence. He talked with me often how he wished to find that special someone with whom he could share his life. I vividly remember the day he told me of his upcoming marriage and the many times thereafter when he anxiously and proudly shared the latest pictures and happenings of his life with his wife and children. I was so sorry to read of Steve passing away. Steve was always one of my favorite co-workers when he first started at MVH all those many years ago, although it seems as only yesterday now. He will remain one of my cherished memories. as a retired employee at the 'Valley' He was always ready and willing with his humor to lend an 'old lady' a helping hand and I always appreciated it and looked forward to seeing his smiling face show up on the scene. May all the good memories of Steve help to sustain his family during this sorrowful time.
