Douglas Ross Obituary
Age 31, of Middletown DE passed away on Monday December 12, 2016.
He was born in Mt Holly, NJ on May 9, 1985 to Robin and Deborah Ross and lived in the NJ and DE areas throughout most of his life.
Doug enjoyed everything about food and graduated from the Delaware Food Bank Culinary Program. He also honored his father's firefighter background by completing the Firefighter I course at the Burlington County Emergency Services Training Center. For the last several years Doug enjoyed working at Amazon in Middletown.
Doug is preceded in death by his father Robin Ross. He is survived by his mother, Deborah R. Bendett; sister, Jennifer McConnell; brother, Craig Ross; his grandparents, Barzilla and Anna Mae Ross; and his beloved cat, Elle.
A memorial service will be 12:00 NOON, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Westfield Friends Meeting, 2201 Riverton Road, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077 with the burial immediately following.

Doug, You always had a spring in your step and a smile on your face. You could always make people laugh. You danced to the beat of your own drum and loved with all of your heart. You will be desperately missed by many and loved eternally by all. I love you Doug... may you Rest In Peace dear Nephew. Doug was one of the brightest lights. I knew Doug for about a year and a half at Amazon and he was always there with a smile and positive energy. He put positivity into the air around him. It was infectious. I am sorry for your loss and I hope you can take some comfort in knowing his spirit is close and lives on in every life he's touched.

Going to miss him I always sat with him at the big all hands meetings at work...very very funny guy he rode his bike to work 99.9% of the time and always ate lunch in the grass out front when it was warm out. Recently he was wearing a brimmed bright color hat and beard ornaments. Truly will be missed his humor can not be replaced.
