JOHN NEEDHAM Obituary

John Lewis Needham

John Lewis Needham, age 45 of Landenberg, PA, died Thursday, June 9, 2005.

Born in West Chester, he was a son of John W. and Sara Scott Needham of West Grove. John served our country in the Air Force and Air National Guard. He owned and operated Needham Services Unlimited of Landenberg. He was a 1978 graduate of Avon Grove high school where he excelled in athletics and theatre. John was a past president of the Avon Grove Lions Club, a member and former trustee of the Avondale Presbyterian Church, a volunteer for Habitat For Humanity and was a coach for 7 years for the Newark National Little League.

He was the loving father of 2 daughters, Lauren of Landenberg and Lindsey of GA; 2 sons, Bradley and Wesley of Newark DE; and the loving companion of Kelly Rudinoff and her daughter, Taylor. A brother, William S. Needham and his wife, Susan, of Sweedsboro, NJ; a sister, Jane Needham Morrissiey and her husband, George, of West Grove; a grandmother Marguerite E. Scott of Toughkenamon; and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be held 11 am on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at the Avondale Presbyterian Church, 416 Pennsylvania Ave., Avondale, PA 19311. Friends and family may call from 5-9 pm on Monday, June 13, 2005, at the FOULK & GRIECO FUNERAL HOME INC., 200 Rose Hill Rd., West Grove, and from 9-11 am the day of the service at the church. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery in Kennett Square.
