Michelle Sierra Obituary
AGE: 49 • Wilmington
Beloved Mother, Sister, Aunt, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and friend. Passed away peacefully with family and friends at her side on Monday May 25, 2015.
She is survived by her son David Angelo Sierra whom she said was her whole world and the light of her life.
She is predeceased by her husband David Allen Sierra.
She leaves behind not only her son David but a large group of family including one sister and six brothers. Many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. And her dogs Marty and Harley.
Michelle was very social. She loved family gatherings, parties and dinners out with "the girls" and listening to oldies. Most family and friends will remember her "no nonsense, tell it like it is attitude". She was that way even to the end. She was telling us "grab a tissue everything will be fine." Her strength is what we will remember and her strength will help get us through this. We are all better for knowing Michelle.
A Visitation will be held for Michelle on Monday June 1, from 6-8pm at the Maranatha Church, 728 Stanton Christiana Rd. Newark, DE. Interment will be Tuesday June 2 at 11:00am In All-Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE.

I first met Michelle when I worked at Discover Card in 1990. I was new to Delaware and she was quick to befriend me. I am sad that we lost touch but I will always have fond memories of our fun times together. She was a wonderful person - truly one of a kind. Sending prayers to her family at this difficult time.

I'm so very sad for the loss of Michelle.. She was a very upfront person , I didn't know her for that well but she always treated me like family. She will be greatly missed !!! God Please watch over Lil Davey and the rest of her family !!

I graduated with Michelle, she was in my dental class of 1984....lost touch with her until about 4 years ago...and was my pleasure to become friends with her again....I know how much she loves her son and will always be with David through his journey of life !!! Truly an amazing friend and more importantly the most amazing mom ever !!!

We are all saddened by Michelle's passing. Always enjoyed her cheerful visits to the Stichter family picnics in PA. And admired her devotion to her Mother and her own Family. On behalf of the Stichter Families in Pennsylvania, I send our condolences
