Newark - Richard L. "Dick" Allen of Newark, DE, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Dick was born on September 20, 1943 in Wilmington, DE to the late William Henry Allen Sr. and Mildred Ruth (Clemens) Allen.
A celebration of Dick's life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:30 am at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home 122 W. Main Street Newark, DE 19711 where friends and family may start visiting at 10:00 am. Burial will be held immediately after the service at Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery. Well,
He sure worked hard at two jobs, both the Acme all those years and the Post and Paddock. Also took care of his mom . Does anybody remember that Buick Riviera. What a beautiful car that was.....
He was a good man, a quiet man.

Shocked to here of Richard's passing. Always had fun working with him. Also back in the day we would meet at the Grey Fox for a cocktail where he was bartender. I will miss crossing paths with him.
