Richard Norris Obituary
Wilmington - Age 74, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017, at Brandywine Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.
Richard was a member of the Elsmere Police Department and after 13 years of service, went on to work for Leonetti's Bakery and Shoprite.
He enjoyed riding his Harley, as well as crabbing and fishing with his son Kevin. He especially looked forward to playing games on the Wii with his beloved grandkids.
Richard is preceded in death by his son, Kevin A. Norris; and his siblings, Thomas Norris, Deborah Norris and Jeff Norris. He is survived by his children, Richard A. Norris Jr. (Sharon), Tammy Hackendorn (Michael), and Eric P. Norris (Lana); as well as 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Paul, Patty, and Denise.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE 19805 on Tuesday, November 28 at 12:00 noon. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 10 to 12. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Richard's name to Seasons Hospice Delaware, 220 Continental Dr. Ste. 407, Newark, DE 19713

I worked with Rick at newark shoprite. He made my day so much fun. We decorated cakes together . I will miss him so much.
