The year was 1967 when we first met Arthur Heffer. He and Nadine had moved in the house next door to us in Vernon CT. Our son Tim was about 31/2 years old. He noticed Arthur mowing his lawn and explained to him that his dad didn't have a lawn mower. Arthur immediately offered and said your dad can use mine. Tim replied that his dad works very hard and could Arthur mow for him. Arthur and Nadine were great neighbors and we continued to stay in touch for many years. Early memories are the best and we both were very sad to hear that such a sweet man passed away. Our love to Nadine, Jodi, David and family members. Love Karen & Ray
