Carolina Iacobucci Obituary

IACOBUCCI, Carolina M. "Carol" (nee Sardella), age 80, of Springfield on November 23, 2017.
Beloved wife of the late Anthony J. "Tony" and loving mother of the late Anthony L. "Cris"
She is survived by her loving children; Mary Ann Messick (Bill), Raymond A. (Rosemary), Michael A. (Lynn) and David Mulhern; 7 adoring grandchildren and 6 cherished great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Guy Sardella and her sisters, Angela Cellinese and Grace Sardella.
Carol was a devout Catholic, and loyal parishioner of Saint Francis of Assisi in Springfield for 57 years. As a volunteer at the Padre Pio Center, Carol traveled across the region to visit people with life threatening illnesses, bringing the glove of Saint Padre Pio and providing spiritual counsel. She volunteered at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for 20 years supporting families with children who were undergoing operations.
Carol will be remembered by her family and friends for her caring and giving nature, boundless energy and many funny stories. Her children and grandchildren will fondly remember her Christmas Eve dinners and the pots of gravy lovingly delivered on wheels to their garage doors every Sunday afternoon.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Wednesday, 6-9 PM at the Danjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008 and on Thursday,
Viewing 9-10:15 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave., Springfield, PA 19064.
Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Mothers Home, Darby, Pa. 51 North Macdade Boulevard Darby, Pa. 19023 or Abramson Cancer Center, Development Office, 3535 Market Street, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104, specifically for Breast Cancer Research, Pa.

To the entire Iacobucci Family, so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I remember having some very interesting conversations with her about her passions in her life. She was a great lady and I feel blessed that I knew her through Ray and Tony while working at Iacobucci Homes.

I will always remember Carol for her kindness and love shown to me. She was very good to me and I will always think of her as a very spiritual person who practiced her love to her family. Carol was a good wife, mother and grandmother. I will never forget her and I know that she is in a better place and that I will see her again.
