Christopher Edgar Obituary
Christopher "Chris" M. Edgar, 38, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011, at his residence in Newtown Square.
Formerly of Media, and Philadelphia, Chris was a 1990 graduate of Penncrest High School.
He had been employed as a painter at the Kevin Dengler Painting Co. of Newtown Square, PA, for past three years.
Prior to working with the Dengler Co., he had been self-employed as a painter in the local area.
He was an active member of Covenant Fellowship Church in Glen Mills, PA, where he was devoted to the Church and was very active with the Youth Group activities.
Chris enjoyed fishing and supporting the local professional sports teams, he loved his family and will be sadly missed by all.
Chris is survived by his father Dennis (Lauren) Edgar, Sr. of Newtown Square and his mother Sandy M. Mengel of Media, he is also survived by his brothers Dennis M. Edgar, Jr. of San Clemente, CA, Ryan Mengel of Media and sister Maia Mengel also of Media.
Funeral service: Relatives and friends are invited to the Christian Funeral Service at the Covenant Fellowship Church, Glen Mills, PA, at 9 AM on Wednesday, March 16, where the family will greet visitors following the service.
Visitation: Friends are invited to call, Tuesday 6:00 to 8 PM at Frank C. Videon Funeral Home, Sproul and Lawrence roads, Broomall, PA.
Interment: Private.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Fellowship Church (Youth Fund) 1 Fellowship Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342.

Dennis & Little Den, You both are in my families thoughts and prayers. I just found out about Chris's passing and I am deeply saddened. The world has lost an incredible young man and a true friend to many. God bless you all and be assured that parts of Chris remain alive in all the people he touched in his brief time with us.

One of my first snowboarding trips. Chris was there to keep me company after a long day on the sloops. He will me missed greatly

I am so sorry to hear of Chris' passing. We were neighbors growing up when we were very young and I have so many great memories of him as a little kid. My heart goes out to his entire family...you are all in my prayers.

Chris Edgar - one of the best. a dear friend as we faced down the challenges of life together. a laugh that always made me, and everyone else, laugh along. a brother who knew how to encourage me when i needed it. a guy who worked hard to bless those around him. a horible spellr. a passionate yet tone-deaf worshipper. in these past few years, despite his struggles, a man who fought hard to live for the Savior to Whom he had devoted himself.
