David Jason Spor

David Jason Spor on January 1, 2019 at age 47, lost the battle with mental illness which affects millions, unable to be helped through medical intervention or the love and support of his family. He will be sadly missed by the many folks whose lives he touched, but most importantly by his immediate and extended family. David grew up in Wallingford, PA but spent the last fourteen years in a town he called his home and loved-Folcroft, PA. He made many friends while being supportive of his local government, the boys club and helping anyone and everyone who needed him. He had his own lawn care business, Dave’s Lawn Care, until he was unable to continue. Dave is pre-deceased by his father Charles R. Spor, Jr., his paternal grandparents Charles and Olga Spor, and his maternal grandmother Catherine Goldsworthy. David is survived by his loving family - Tammy Scanlon, who has stood by him for the last 18 years, their sons Charles Richard Spor, III, David Jason Spor, Jr., Eric Michael Spor, II, Hina Scanlon and his daughter Caitlyn Erika Spor Marshall, who was adopted at an early age by his parents Jay and Linda Marshall, and his brother Aaron (Courtney) Marshall. Not to be forgotten, as very important and supportive in his life, were his Uncle Eric Spor and cousin Jay King. Visitation: Saturday January 05, 2019 from 10-12noon at Kevin M.
