I am Don's cousin. His father and my mother were brother and sister. My two brothers and I were raised in D.C. I received a phone call from Don's sister, Margaret Lomas, that Don had died. My condolences to the family and my prayers are with you.

I offer my condodlence to Don's family.
I was sorry to hear of Don's passing. Don was a very friendly person. We were teenage baseball friends, and we plaid our games on the Media baseball field, corner of State and Edgemont Street. Gabe and John Scala's Dad would drive us to play our away games,.in the back of a Ford pick up truck. What I remember most about Don was he was a home run slugger. He was a right handed batter and he could hit that ball over the right field fence, into the Ford motor company lot. When I asked Don, how do you do that? He would just smile. A great Guy!
