Robert Fannon Obituary

Robert “Bob” Fannon passed away on April 7, 2021. Born and raised in Chester, he was a 1965 graduate of St. James High School. Bob served in United States Army and was a Purple Heart recipient. He worked at Pathmark for 45 years and was a longtime Philadelphia sports fan. A man of great faith in Jesus Christ, Bob will be remembered for his devotion to his faith and family. Though he will be dearly missed we are eternally thankful for the beautiful memories and lessons he selflessly imparted to us. Predeceased by his loving parents Joseph and Mary Fannon; and beautiful daughters Samantha Grace & Ruby Grace. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joanne Fannon (nee Hill); his cherished daughters Melinda; Kris Fisher (William); Ariel Osmers (Michael); Cierra (Michael); Sophia; and sons Lloyd; Christian; Christopher; Michael; and Daniel; his adoring grandchildren Isaac, Isabella, Lily, Adeline, Michael Robert, Charlie, and Sebastian; also survived by his dear sisters Barbara Misiewicz (Richard) and Patricia Nobles. Bob was a great neighbor and one Rob and I will miss. He always had a kind word and that terrific smile when talking to him. Rob said he'll always remember the great times Bob and the guys had playing cards together and just their casual chats when they'd see each other outside. Bob had this specific laugh that he used on me when Kris would say or do something that her mother would do. A knowing and sympathetic laugh that I'm going to miss hearing. I'm really going to miss seeing him get excited when we'd go out for dinner. I'm going to miss our talks. You'll be missed and always loved.
