Walter Craig Obituary

Walter Z. Craig, Jr., “Buddy”, age 69, of Wallingford, PA and Jupiter, FL, died at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was surrounded by his loving family. Buddy was raised in Parkside, Pa and was a 1965 graduate of Sun Valley High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969 during the Vietnam War. He worked for Sun Oil Company in Marcus Hook as a boilermaker maker then moving to metallurgy inspector for over 30 years, also serving for years as a worker’s union representative at the plant. Buddy enjoyed his family, friends and colleagues that he worked with at Sun Oil Company. He was a member of the Sun Honor Club. He had a life-long love of the out-of-doors and enjoyed the beauty of the natural environment. He enjoyed hunting at his hunting retreat in upstate PA, as well as deep sea fishing. Buddy managed several of his own real-estate investments. As a hobby for years he raised spectacular, award winning orchids. Buddy was the son of the late Walter and Claire (Delaney) Craig. SURVIVORS: His beloved wife of over 48 years: Donna (Craft) Craig Children: Zene Craig (Kristin), and Brynden Craig and Chris Carson. Siblings: Sandra Gamble (John) and Lynne Baldino (Frank) and 5 grandchildren. VISITATION: Monday from 10:00am-12:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA. Eulogies: Monday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home BURIAL: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood
