DELAWARE — Jacob Matthew "Bugs" Counts, 19, of Newark, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, May 5, 2017 at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus.
He was born April 25, 1998, in Delaware, Ohio, to Jason Counts and Franceska (Coe) Counts, and attended the Oakstone Academy in Columbus.
Jacob enjoyed cars, raising his chickens, John Deere tractors, and watching The Weather Channel and The Walking Dead. He also enjoyed fishing and camping.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Franceska Counts and Mark Sethman of Newark; father and stepmother, Jason and Tammi Counts of Delaware; half-sisters, Heather, Rachel, Athenea; half-brothers, Michael, Ethan, Ian Brody Counts, and Jonah Counts; maternal grandparents, Hedwig and Stephen Coe of Ostrander; paternal grandparents, Greg and Wanda Counts of Columbus; uncles, Andrew Coe (fiance' Courtney) of Sunbury, Christopher (Vicki) Coe of Lakewood and Scotty (Lisa) Counts of London; aunt, Amanda Counts of Columbus; several cousins, and two lifelong friends Leia O'Leary and Kelsey Patrick both of Delaware.
Jacob was preceded in death by a half-brother, Lucas James Counts.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. and 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William St.), Delaware, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Paul McCullough officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

I will miss seeing his face. He was an amazing person. I'm glad i was able to know him. I'm so sorry his family and our world has to mourn him but i know he is truly happy now.
