Rebekah A. Fleming

Allen-Rebekah A. Fleming 25 of Allen, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Born in Salisbury, MD she was the daughter of John E. Fleming, Sr. and Patricia Spiker Fleming.

Rebekah grew up in Fruitland, MD and spent her days on the farm with her loving family. She then moved to Allen, MD where she spent the last 12 years taking care of her family. She attended Parkside High School, where she was active in concert choir, sign language club and the Bible club. She was also a proud member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she participated in helping the Vacation Bible School and singing in the choir. Rebekah was a member of the Spina Bifida Association of the Eastern Shore, and was also a member of Athletes Serving Athletes. She completed the Marine Corps Marathon, assisted by her brother SSgt. Fleming.

Bekah's favorite past time was traveling to spend time with family and friends. She also enjoyed watching hummingbirds on the family farm. Bekah was the first to give everything she had to whomever needed it. Bekah was a blessing to everyone she had the pleasure to meet.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her grandfather, Gerald Spiker; brothers, Johnny Fleming Jr. and his wife, Mary and Steven Fleming and her best friend, Sara Thomsen and many caring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at Holloway Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Monday one hour prior to the service. Pastor Steve Wagner will officiate. Interment will be in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury.

We are sincerely sorry for your loss. We will always remember Rebekah for her sweetness and her beautiful smile each time we saw her in church.
