Ann Howell Obituary

Ann F. (Benenhaley) Howell

Rochester - Ann passed away on April 15th, 2019 surrounded by her family in Daytona Beach, Florida after a brief illness. Ann was born on February 3rd, 1946 to parents Dorothy Ray Benenhaley and Fred Benenhaley. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church growing up and attended Hillcrest High School in Dalzell South Carolina. She worked at Exide Battery until she married the love of her life Brad on January 3rd,1970 and soon after she made her home in New York. Ann worked mostly in the home raising her two sons and filling their home with love and laughter. If you asked Ann, she would say her sons were her biggest accomplishments. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Ann loved to raise money for her two favorite charities, St Jude's and March of Dimes. She was an avid walker and bowler. She was a beautiful, humble person who could light up any room and find laughter in anything and everything that came up.

Ann is survived by her husband Brad Howell, son Jeff Howell (Jennifer), son Rob Howell (Lyndsay), ten grandchildren, Hunter, Brenden, Faith, Ava, Landon, Gianna, Olivia, Mariana, Reece and Kendal, all of Rochester, New York, sister-in-law Valerie Howell Smith of Knoxville Tennessee, four nephews, two great nieces and many cousins.

Ann was preceded to heaven by her mother Dorothy and father Fred, brother John Thomas Benenhaley, sister Carol Buriss, sister Liz Jordan and niece Stephanie Kenny.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 23rd 2019. Visitation will be from 3pm until 6pm and service immediately after at Bartolomeo and Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane, Rochester New York, 14626.
