Edward Maloney Obituary
Fairport: Age 79 died Saturday (December 27, 2014) at the Episcopal Home. Ted was born April 12, 1935 in Rochester, NY, the son of the late Michael and Mary Maloney. Predeceased by his infant son Matthew.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Rita, two children Gail (Bradley) Dodd and Thomas (Pamela) Maloney. Three grandchildren Ian Maloney, Katherine and Elizabeth Dodd. 2 step-grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Brother in law Carl (Alice) Dziedziech and many close friends. He attended Aquinas Institute, RIT and was employed at Xerox for 37 years. Ted was an active member of the Church of the Assumption for 46 years and also enjoyed spending winters in Brownsville, Texas.
Memorial mass Friday 4 pm at the Church of the Assumption, Fairport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the School of the Holy Childhood or Our Lady of Mercy High School in Ted's memory.

Dear Rita, I was terribly sorry to hear about the loss of Ed. He left me with many happy memories. Always had a joke and was such a kind and compassionate person. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Dear Rita and family,
Tony and Ted were friends since 1949 as freshmen at Aquinas. We finally wound up as Dads of Our Lady of Mercy girls. Hey Ted keep the alto sax warmed up for Heaven's jazz band. See you again at the reunion in the sky.
