On Wednesday it was just you and i in the hospital room, although you were weary we were chatting and laughing as usual. On Thursday you were gone. I feel blessed that i was able to tell you how special you are to me and i told you that i love you. At 95 years old you were one of the most fiery, spirited, gentle and tenderhearted women i have ever known. It was truly an honor not only to be a part of your family but also your friend. My last moments with you will forever be locked safe within my heart. Rest in peace grandma...

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Grandma Lewandowski. She was such a quiet, sweet, yet strong woman who always made us feel like we were her Grandchildren as well. I still remember going to her house as kids with you. What a great, long life she lived. She will be missed. You are in our thoughts & prayers, today & always.
