Erna Lewis Obituary
Greece: March 18, 2008, at the age of 49 after a long, courageous battle with ovarian cancer our beloved Erna went home to our Lord's loving Arms. Erna leaves behind her loving and caring husband Scott; children, Christopher, Stephanie, Shannon and Jamie; grandchildren Deven, Abigale and Alena; she is also survived by her father Walter; brothers Tom and Kevin.
When diagnosed with cancer, Erna saw an opportunity to help others and created Erna's Hope: a non-profit organization dedicated to educating all women of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. Erna also made comfort bags, to offer encouragement and hope to women with gynecological cancer.
BARTOLOMEO & PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., is Caring for Erna and her family. Erna's life will be celebrated April 19th, 11 AM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 4301 Mt. Read Blvd., with a luncheon following for everyone. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Erna's Hope c/o Rayann Ranzenbach 16 Janet Lane, Rochester, NY 14606, in Erna's memory.
