Rochester: It is with great sadness that the family of John C Reinhardt share the news of his passing on Tuesday, July 4th 2017. Forever remembered for his wit, intelligence, charismatic presence and warm heart John will be missed more than words can say. He is survived by his daughters Patricia Davis (Jeff) and Pamela Lane (David) and five grandchildren, Jamie and Julie Davis, Jackie Centauro (Andy), Jennifer and Andrew Lane. Predeceased by his loving wife Patricia whom he was married to for 62 years.

John was a true patriot who served in the US Navy as an officer during the Korean War. He spent the majority of his career working for the IBM Corp. and later went on to work for the Rochester Funds. John was a member of Monroe Golf Club and the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford and a former member of the East Rochester Fire Department and the Rochester Rotary Club.

An avid gardener, watercolor enthusiast, furnifute creator and refinisher John loved to work with his hands. He always had a good book to read and a joke to tell. Born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 7th 1932 John went on to graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Special thanks to the loving volunteers and staff at the Advent House in Fairport where John spent his last days.

A private family burial is planned. Friends are invited to call at a Celebration of Life in Johns honor at Perlos Restaurant 202 N Washington St. East Rochester on Sunday August 20th 4:00 until 7:00pm.
