Pittsford, NY - Survived by his wife Linda (Alongi); children, Ami (Michael) Meath Ruffo & Kevin Meath; grandchildren Sylvia & Sienna Ruffo; sister, Bonnie (Harry) Meath-Lang.
Calling hours will be 4-7 pm Wednesday at HARLOFF Funeral Home (803 South Washington St., East Roch.) with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Pkwy, Roch., NY 14623.

It doesn´t seem possible that it´s been four years since Your family lost Kevin so tragically. I knew Kevin as a kid, the brother of my good friend Bonnie. Since then, I, too, lost my dear husband Norbert during Christmas time. It is tough to enjoy the holidays, but I hope you all have found some peace and joy in reliving happy memories, as I have. I cannot express my sorrow in hearing about Kevin. I worked with Kevin at WHAM/WVOR years ago, but we still kept in touch. I didn't find out what happened until yesterday when I called the station to ask him a question.
He was a sweet, sweet man, very compassionate and one of a kind. He sure loved his family.
He will be truly missed by everyone. I will always remember his smiling face and all the help he gave me when I was just starting out in radio.
I know he will be your guardian angel and will always be with you, as well as all the friends he has touched in some way.

We have lost a true gentleman. Kevin was one of a kind. I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Kevin in one capacity or another since the late 80's. He always wanted to help, and never, ever looked for recognition or thanks. He was well loved and so very respected. Thank you to Jeff Howlett for posting such a nice photo. Kevin's smile will be missed. My prayers are with you.

Kevin was a great classmate and neighbor growing up at Our Lady of Lourdes and in the Antlers/Bonnie Brae neighborhood. Many memories at OLOL and McQ. He was and is a champion of charity, compassion and people. Thank you for your many years of service to our community.

Kevin was the most caring and sharing person we've ever known. We worked together for over two decades and he was always involved with so many not-for-profit organizations bringing joy to all of them. He will be missed by so many.

I have known and respected Kevin since I taught him in the 6th, 7th, 8th grades at Our Lady of Lourdes School--and applaud his commitment to helping children--and everyone he met. I met Kevin as a member of the Eddie Meath All-Star Game Committee and worked for over 20 years on this important event that he was involved with.
On a personal side, we would frequently run into each other at the Wegmans in Country Club Plaza in ER. Just a couple of hours before this happened we bumped into each other again.
Prayers and thoughts to his wife and family....but the legacy of what he and his dad did will not be forgotten.
