Nicholas DiPonzio Obituary
Rochester: Friday, April 22, 2016, at age 84. Predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Albert and Angelo DiPonzio; sisters, Marion Fracassi, Connie Gallo, Bertie Feola and Antoinette Magliozzi. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Florence DiPonzio; daughters, Tracey (Elliott) Farmer, Julie Polizzi, Chrissy (Mark) Martello; sons, Nicholas Victor (Cassandra) DiPonzio of GA, Robert Troy Brewster; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Edward (Mary) DiPonzio; brother-in-law, Salvatore Magliozzi; sisters-in-law, Fannie DiPonzio, Diane (Joe) Damelio, Thelma Raschiatore; many nieces and nephews.
Big Nick brought joy to all.
No prior calling. On Tuesday, April 26, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. John the Evangelist Church of Greece. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Those wishing, donations may be directed to St. John Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd., Rochester, NY 14626 in his memory.

To Nick's family I'm so sorry for your loss. I've been friends with Nick and have some great memories of him. I'm so glad that we were able to have lunch together not along ago and share some memories. That day will be always be a day to remember. We bowled together the last few years, each Mon.
With Nick it was always fun. He made you laugh continually, and you looked forward to seeing him.
He was always interested in your Health, even when his was failing . Just a great guy.

Nick was such a wonderful man. He had a beautiful voice and I loved listening to him in the MPB choir. Especially when he sang the Our Father!
Whenever I saw him he was so happy to see people! He will be missed!

Uncle Nick, growing up as your niece and goddaughter was the greatest gift from God. The last couple days at the hospital were extremely difficult at the same time I feel blessed to have been by your side. You meant the world to me. I will always keep our memories in my heart.
