Thomas Hedrick Obituary
Rochester: June 27, 2013, age 79. Predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Camille Hedrick; and his son-in-law, Wayne McElligott. Survived by his loving wife, Rita; his children, Helen (Richard) Gage, Linda McElligott, Robert (Linda) Hedrick, Theresa (Louis) Alano, Thomas P. (Cheryl Wedgwood) Hedrick, Christina Murray, Richard (Wendy) Hedrick, Melinda Brown (Dan Bacchetta), Deborah (David) Fox, Carol (Angelo) Scarpulla, William (Debbie) DePriest; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law, Earl (Kathy) Schiffhauer; also many other relatives and dear friends.
The family will receive visitors MONDAY 4-7 PM at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450.

Tom was a strong man with a tender heart I spent a few months with him 36 years ago while I was on my way to a new chapter of my life, he was a good listener! And I will always hear his robust laugh in my heart! My thoughts and prayers are with my nieces and nephews at this difficult time, the miles between us make it hard to let them know that. May God be with you all during and after these next few days.

My memories of my Uncle Tom always have him with a paintbrush in hand. Wether he was painting a picture, or the figurines outside his home, or helping my Mom and Dad paint their house years ago. Now, I'm sure he Is helping "paint" the beauty of nature. I will miss him dearly
